Elisa Saliha Wehrle
Elisa Wehrle (Master of Music), born in May 1990 in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).
She studied opera singing/music theatre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, (2012-2014) and Saarbrücken, Germany, (2014-2021) and successfully completed her master's degree in singing with Prof. Ruth Ziesak at the University of Music Saar (Germany) in September 2021.
Already during her studies she was able to gain numerous solo experiences on stage. She was also active as a soloist and in the E-choir of the Frankfurt Opera and the Wiesbaden State Theatre, Germany.
A lively concert schedule in Austria (Citizen Machinery Europe, Tyrol) and Switzerland (Zurich), as well as recitals (e.g. at the Landesvertretung Berlin) form a central part of her artistic activities. Numerous master classes, such as with Prof. Elisabeth Glauser (Freiburg, Germany), Prof. Klesie Kelly-Moog (Cologne, Germany) and KS Prof. Christiane Iven (Munich, Germany) enrich her musical horizon.
During the years of her vocal studies, the young soprano acquired the scholarship of the Elisabeth and Bruno Meindl Foundation, the Richard Wagner Association of Saarland, the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, the Claudia Meyer Scholarship and the scholarship Klangspektrum BW of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation.
The talented musician has received additional support from the Ernst von Siemens Foundation, the Musikfestspiele Saar and PopRat Saarland e.V..
In 2019, she was cast as a guest soloist in the children's opera "The Arabian Princess" by J.C. Arriaga at the State Theatre Saarbrücken, Germany, a co-production with the Opéra national du Rhin.
In 2021 she sang the title role of Silvia Lombardi in Korngold's "Die stumme Serenade" as part of the cooperation between the conservatory Saarbrücken and the State Theatre Saarbrücken.
On 03 September 2022, the talented musician sang at the benefit gala of the Colombinen Colonia e.V. in the Cologne Flora, Germany, in the program before the entertainer Ross Anthony. On this evening, donations amounting to 100.000 euros were presented to organizations for needy women and children from Cologne.
She is in demand as a international singer, such as in Israel (Jerusalem) and Norway (Tjøme).
In April 2022 she was engaged as a soloist at the Theatre Esch in Luxembourg within the framework of "L' Europe en Musique" together with the European Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, with which she performed again in June at the "Eglise Notre-Dame" in France.
In February 2023, the young singer was engaged in Thailand (Pattaya).
